Giving back to our community

 The Baden Chamber of Commerce recognizes the value Royal Canadian Air Cadets contribute to  the community.  Cadets learn to be better citizens and leaders through the program. As part of this,  the cadets give back to the community in a positive way by participating in local events.

The Chamber's bursary is named after longtime Wilmot Township resident and retired Air Cadet, Tony Lake, for his community participation and devotion.

This bursary is offered to cadets that belong to 822 "Tutor" Air Cadet Squadron

The BCA is a group of citizens who take a hands-on approach to enhancing life in Baden. Since 2012, our successes have included flowers on Livingston Boulevard, free activities on Family Day, and Foundry Street Parkette including rehabilitating the bridge. We also help other groups such as the Baden Library summer reading program.

Our mission is to make Baden an awesome place to live - and an unforgettable town to visit!

Baden hosts an annual Santa Claus parade! After a hiatus, the parade returned in 2024 with great fanfare!

The Wilmot Agricultural Society Ambassador Program is a fantastic program for young adults to get involved in their community and support local agricultural interests!

The Sylvia Forbes Business Leadership Award is an annual scholarship recognizing a deserving Waterloo-Oxford business student. Established in honor of Sylvia Forbes, the Chamber President at the time of her passing, this award celebrates leadership and dedication in business studies. It also significantly increases the financial support previously offered through the Chamber’s scholarship, doubling its value to further invest in student success.
